The Dark Blue Matatu was made in about 2004 and is very hard to find. There is only one known to exist, I believe, but again, it is not the most striking piece.
The Dark Red Huna was made alongside the Dark Blue Matatu, in 2004. It uses the same mold as the White Huna, but is the only one known to exist in that color.
The Translucent Glow in the Dark Kanoka disk (don't make me repeat that) was yet another prototype piece made for 2004. It was just a blank version of the normal Kanoka disks that were released that year.
These two Kanoka were both from 2004. The one on the left has the official Bionicle symbol on it, the one on the right was made specially to display at the Comic-Con fair of that year.
The Tan Kanoka was a prototype that LEGO Company had so many of that it had to give them all away, or so I've heard. Speaking of tan, there haven't been many tan LEGOs lately...
The Kakama Kanoka was originally made and distributed in black; there are only 7 of the glow-in-the-dark versions known to exist.
The Yellow Ruru was originally going to be made widely available, but at the last moment, before it was put into widespread production, LEGO changed it to a different mask, and there were only three ever made.

The Brown Komau was discovered at the same time as the White Huna. Nobody really knows how it came to be, only that it must be some kind of prototype.
Those are just a few of all the rare masks out there. There are many more than these paltry few.
Hope that this can pass for an excuse for a post! Thanks for reading.
